BEN LANDERS
Key Facts
Ben has been the top player on the Medway boys' golf team for the past three years. He dominated in individual play this year, winning the individual TVRA championship at Forest City with a 72, three better than second place, and winning the WOSSA individual championship at St. Thomas Golf and Country Club with a 69, five shots better than the next best golfer. Ben placed 32nd out of 120 golfers at OFSAA in Kingsville. Despite his great talent, Ben is a polite, respectful and modest person, a leader on the team, in terms of performance, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Bio
Ben is a grade 11 student at Medway High School. He has been playing golf since he was 2 years old and joined the Medway team in grade 9. Other sports Ben enjoys playing are hockey and lacrosse. Ben hopes to pursue golf at the varsity level when he attends university.
